DT Dance – Terms and Conditions

By enrolling in or making payment for classes at DT Dance, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

  1. General Terms

Our terms and conditions may be updated from time to time, with a minimum of half a term’s notice provided. Any changes will be communicated via email and published on our website. By continuing to attend classes after updates are issued, you confirm your acceptance of the revised terms.

  1. Classes

All RAD and non-syllabus classes are scheduled at the Waterloo, London venue , by our school term calendar, calculated as 12 weeks across the academic year. Class bookings must be made via email directly to the school.

  1. Trial & Enrolment

A paid trial class is required before enrolment. Once you choose to enrol, this must be done via email, which will incur a one-time £15 administration fee and initiate your subscription with DT Dance. We will send out an enrolment/registration form.

  1. Subscriptions & Payments

Payments may be made via our school bank account, card, or cash. Receipts are available on request. To cancel a enrolment, we require a term’s notice. Cancellations made later than this may be subject to a 50% charge, and we do not offer refunds once payments have been processed.

  1. Fees

The £15 enrolment fee is non-refundable. Term fees are also non-transferable, and any late payments will incur a £25 penalty. Fees for additional activities such as exams, shows, and workshops must be paid in advance and are also non-refundable. Discounts are available for siblings, multiple class bookings, and selected combinations—please refer to the ‘Fees’ section on our website for full details.

  1. Timetable & Class Placement

Our timetable is subject to change. Class placement is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Any class changes must be requested via email.

  1. Missed or Cancelled Classes

Missed classes are non-refundable, although in special circumstances, they may be rescheduled within the same term. If a class is cancelled by DT Dance, it will either be rescheduled or credited to your school account.

  1. Exams

Participation in exams is by teacher invitation only. While exams are not compulsory, they may be required for progression to the next level.

  1. Refunds & Credits

Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed. Credit notes issued are valid for up to three terms from the date of issue.

  1. Conduct & Behaviour

DT Dance operates a strict zero-tolerance policy towards bullying or disrespectful behaviour. Breaches of this policy may result in removal from the school.

  1. Parent & Student Responsibilities

Please ensure your contact details are always up to date. We must be informed of any medical needs or if someone other than a parent/guardian will be collecting your child. Proper uniform must be worn, and punctuality is expected at all times. For children under the age of 5, we kindly ask that a parent or guardian remains nearby if additional attention may be needed. Classroom assistants may be provided to support younger students.

  1. Photography & Privacy

Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes, but only with prior consent. Parents are not permitted to film during classes unless express permission has been granted. All personal data is securely stored and treated with strict confidentiality.

  1. Liability

DT Dance is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings or for circumstances beyond our control. Physical corrections may be used during classes to support technique. If you prefer your child not to be physically corrected, please notify us in writing via email.

  1. Emergencies & Safety

For emergencies, please contact us on 07930 839319 (text only outside class hours). All staff members are fully DBS checked and appropriately insured.
